The Good Report

whatever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things. Phil 4:8

Screw It, Let’s Do It

It’s simple. A limited public declaration (and you are the limited public if you clicked on this idiotic sounding tab):

1o kg down for the next 11.5 months

An acheiveable goal: 870 grams per month.

A half Atkins diet is now on and gym and running and swimming are all ongoing. And regular table tennis for cardio and fun.

Don’t ask me what’s half Atkins. It just means 50% carbo when I should totally abstain (failed totally the last time).

Every cut fat process has a story, allow me to dramatize mine:

>>That cold December afternoon in Taiwan, a day before flying home, I was carrying a box of stuff from the supermarket. That little pulpit of mine was an obstruction. Such was the discomfort in that biting cold I could barely bare the weight. Then I decided this was it. 80kg is all I’m willing to bear. My body can do better with 10kg less, especially my lower back. I hate the lethargy and the pathatic number of clothes I can wear from my wartorn wardrobe – my shape has challenged many the integrity of the buttons holding my shirts and pants together.

Enough of the fat jokes. That was it.

And here’s the vision:

I can, I will and I must! I desire that healthy body again, however distant it may seem!

Did that before and will have that again. Rally me on!
